The principle of runner arrangement  

1) Make the distance of melten plastic material from the sprue to each gate as equal as possible.
2) Make the pressure center of the cavity coincide with the center of the injection machine as much as possible.

Balanced arrangement of runners

1) Natural balance: The lengths and cross-sectional shape of the runner from the sprue to each cavity are the same, and the filling to each cavity is balanced.
2) Artificial balance: The lengths of the runners  from sprue to each cavity are different. By changing the cross-sectional area of the runner and the gate (using CAE mold flow analysis), the purpose of balanced filling to each mold cavity is achieved.
